How does the Tenanta application process work?
Tenants complete an online application and provide details such as rental amount, tenancy agreement, and personal information. Once approved, Tenanta issues a guarantee to the landlord, covering the tenant’s rent obligations under the tenancy. What happens if I fall behind on rent payments?
If rent cannot be paid, tenants should contact both the landlord and Tenanta immediately. In many cases, repayment plans or early surrender agreements can be arranged. If arrears continue, Tenanta may step in to pay the landlord and then work directly with the tenant to resolve repayment.
